Taskly: Simple Family Organizer

Taskly is the simplest way of organizing your family. Taskly allows you to create calendars, events and tasks for your family to access on any of their devices. I created an MVP for Taskly by using exercises like cardsorts, user personas, surveys, and competitor research that help me create something that would be fun and comfortable to use.

Research

Research was a big part of designing the flows and interctions in Taskly. This was because I wanted to make sure I was creating something that would was based off information and not assumptions. I created user personas, conducted surveys from people in the target demographic, card sorts to determine how people wanted the information constructed, and brokedown the flow into stages and tried to envision pain points.

Visual Design

After the research is completed I began creating wireframe sketches to quickly prototype ideas. Once that was done I created mockups in Sketch to be tested and from the results adjusted the layout further. After all that I honed in on the brand standards to be translated into the final design
